First Year Apprentice – Mechanical Engineering (Compressed Air Systems)

Location: Silverwater, NSW Full‑time Apprenticeship

Start your mechanical engineering career with a well‑established Australian manufacturer specialising in industrial compressed air systems, including the design, production, installation and servicing of compressors, air treatment equipment and storage solutions. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll learn from experienced tradespeople and gain real industry skills from day one.

About the Role

As a First Year Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, you will:

  • Assist in the assembly, manufacture and testing of compressed air systems
  • Learn to service, maintain and repair a variety of compressor technologies
  • Support installation teams on customer sites
  • Work in a modern workshop with skilled technicians and engineers
  • Build strong mechanical, diagnostic and problem‑solving skills

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Genuinely interested in mechanical engineering or industrial equipment
  • Motivated, reliable and eager to learn
  • Comfortable with hands‑on work
  • A good communicator and team player
  • Able to commit to a full‑time apprenticeship
  • Completed Year 10 or higher
